Bluetooth phone not connecting to MMI - no phone available

Hi everyone.

Just bought an A6 SE AVANT 2.0 Diesel. Lovely but ...

I didn't try the bluetooth to my phone before I bought.

I have samsung Galaxy S3 and have checked this is on the compatibility list but even when I have the "discoverable by all other devices" set on the phone, the MMI says "no phone available". :(

Is there something else I have to turn on or do I have to pay Audi a fortune to have some simple software switch triggered or is my particular (8-button) MMI not properly compatible?

All help welcomed.

I am also posting separately regarding MMI ugrade (if I don't find the answer anyway).

This is the deadest owners forum I've come across and I have been in a few previously.

Hi, following on from my previous thread, I have seen another car that I was interested in: https://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/details/used/audi/a5/automatic-petrol-white-coupe/06ce9494-f94d-f111-8fdd-000d3a874790/ When I enquired with the dealer, they said there is only one stamp in the book from February of this year, and no history at all in the Audi database. So there is only evidence of 1 service in almost 10 years. I am starting to get a bit !Removed! off with this actually, and it's real

Good to join the Forum. A mouse got into my wife's beloved light blue 2004 A4 TDI Sport Auto Convertible (she has had it from new) and has chewed through the aerial cable under the back seat. and damaged it in two other sections. What connectors are recommended to re-join it and are they easily sourced - the garage made out I might need to go back to the loom - surely not? The radio is the original Bose Symphony. Hi group. I own a Audi A6 C8 2024 40 TFSI with nearly 40k ml. Does anyone have or had a similar issue? I've been seeing more and more posts across FB and multiple forums about people having the alternator failure related to the 48v mild hybrid system and wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and how their experience has been. I know in USA they have announced a TSB with an extended warranty for 7 years but I am trying to get more info from Audi UK but not getting anywhere. Hello everyone, Wondering if anyone can help me. A few weeks ago my EPC light came on and immediately went into limp mode and started jumping when driving at 5mph. After a few hours I came back to the car and it was fine so I drove it to my storage unit. Hi everyone, I've got a lovely old Audi 100 Quattro 2.8E from 1994. Sadly the bearings have gone in the interior blower, leading to horrible noises any time I try to use the climate control. I tried to source a replacement part, but the one that was sent has a different mounting to what's in my car.
