Fully amplified or not

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a 2004 A3 2.0tdi sport. My speakers have Bose on them and the head unit (Audi Concert) says Bose when it's turned on does this mean I have full amplified system? If not how can I find out?

I'm looking at replacing my head unit only with a Pioneer Keh9700R head unit and need to know what fitting kit to get.

If anyone can help this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Emma

I believe Bose systems are usually fully amplified.

If you can, the best way to check on the fitting kit would be to pop your head unit and check the connector blocks against the options available online to see if they match up.

Good morning James

Thanks for coming back to me. I think rather than try and change the head unit over by myself I would probably be best off getting an audio installer to do it.

Can you or anyone else who might view this post recommend anyone? I am based near Heathrow but do not mind travelling within a reasonable distance.

Emma

I know Dynamic Sounds are meant to be pretty good and are not all that far from you...
