New bulbs

Featured Replies

I've just got an 07 a6 and want to get xenon's and daytime LEDs installed. Is this an expensive job or can anyone recommended any decent bulbs that give the xenon blue look? Thanks in advance

Hi Rob,

Could be expensive but depends how you want to go about it.

If you want to do a full OEM retro fit then the parts will be very expensive unless you get very lucky and find a great deal on second hand parts.

Also, when thinking about xenons, bare in mind that it is legally a grey area to fit xenons without auto levelling and headlight washers.

The cheaper option would be to get after market xenons fitted. These kits are relatively cheap and readily available on ebay etc but again you could have issues with the legality although many people have fitted them and never had a problem - just something to bare in mind.

Also, you will need to get a canbus compatible kit to avoid problems with bulb warning lights etc.
