Hey guys, new here,
looking for my first Audi....

I'm looking for an A3 2.0TDi
4WD, I love the look of the A3's, always have, plus my misses likes
them as well and I need a good car to last me a fair few years and
something that's good in all weather (hence the 4WD) I'm 22 at the
moment and I'm looking for one that's in between £3,000 to £5,500,
don't mind high millage cars, just gotta look good and have good body
work, mechanical wise, I don't care much for that as I'm a mechanic
myself so it helps me get to know the car and know how to get access
to everything and build a bond with it.

Is there anything
I need to look out for with the cars when I get one? I know all cars
have there faults, some more than others so not hating on A3's when I
ask what faults I need to look for, just don't wanna buy a complete
heap of junk, which is what my last car was, lol.

I've
also got a private plate to go on the car when I get it (Already paid
for, lol)

Hi Jethro,

Welcome to AOC  :)

Are you looking for a manual or auto A3?

Manual mate :)

Not tempted with a petrol turbo or a V6?  :D

Nope, I'm 22 dude, can't afford the insurance..... That's why I'm going for the sensible choice of a 2.0TDi

Fair enough, I'd just try and find one with good service history, lots of receipts etc even if high mileage. It's just a good sign it's been well cared for. Likewise I would always look for a car with a matching set of decent make tyres. Nothing says "I only do the bare minimum when looking after my car" like a mis-matching set of budgets!

Sweet dude, thanks for that

No worries  :)

Found any potentials yet?

Hi and welcome.

If you need any help with insurance at all when you find a vehicle then please feel free to drop me a line. I'd be only too pleased to help out.

Regards,

Dan.
