Enging management light A3 2.0 TDI 2008

Hi guys,

Two weeks ago the engine management light came on, last week it went off, this week its back on, scanner says no codes, ABS says no codes and A/T and SRS says linking error. Can anybody throw some light on the problem for me cheers.

No it does not mate, just says linking error, tried turning off ignition for ten seconds, still the same, tried unplugging and re attaching and still the same read out. Although the engine says no codes and the abs says no codes. The scanner is a vw/audi memo scanner u281. cheers

Hi can anyone help with this. I'm looking to code out the 'brake pad' wear limit reached message on dash. I managed to eliminate the orange brake light symbol when the message appears along with the audible by changing the long coding on VCDS but does anyone know where i can delete the message aswell on VCDS? New pads & discs fitted and also new genuine brake wear sensors but there seems to be that there might be a fault somewhere so im looking to de code it completley. See picture below

Hi, I'm looking for a engine/injector wiring loom that goes from the ECU (8P0 907 115 T Med 9.1) to the injectors (06F906036A) for a Audi A3 2008 2.0L TFSI Quattro due to an intermittent misfire issue on cylinder no. 4. Cost from TPS for genuine replacement is astronomical, any help would be appreciated (e.g. where to source a replacement, correct part no., etc)

Hi, following on from my previous thread, I have seen another car that I was interested in: https://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/details/used/audi/a5/automatic-petrol-white-coupe/06ce9494-f94d-f111-8fdd-000d3a874790/ When I enquired with the dealer, they said there is only one stamp in the book from February of this year, and no history at all in the Audi database. Hello all After a year of owning my first RS6 c5. It seems I'm in need of new strut top mounts. Do any of you have experience of the 034 rubber mounts? I've seen they are solid vs original ones that have bearings. How much of a difference does this make. And on a side note has anyone used RB Racing brake disc. What's your thoughts? Hello everyone, Wondering if anyone can help me. A few weeks ago my EPC light came on and immediately went into limp mode and started jumping when driving at 5mph. After a few hours I came back to the car and it was fine so I drove it to my storage unit. Hi. My partner's recently bought Q2 has an odd and not very welcome feature. The wing mirrors fold on locking the car with the key pilp, but don't unfold when the car is unlocked with the plip. They only do so when the key goes in the ignition. In some circumstances this can lead to doubt about whether the doors are locked or not whereas before it was obvious as the plip alone folded and unfolded the wing mirrors (as is does with my similarly new A3). I have a new A3 Black Edition auto. Within four weeks of delivery the engine cut out whilst driving, the drivetrain under positive power. The car rolled to a complete halt, the retardation entirely commensurate with the wheels driving a dead engine - it did not freewheel. The instrument panel remained powered and displayed no warning lights or fault messages. I shut the car down and after a pause restarted. Since then it has operated normally. Recently while driving my EPC light came on . Followed by my engine management light. Unfortunately I was on the motorway so put car into sports mode in the auto box to keep the revs high so I could get home the 49 miles. Been to the garage this morning no lights on my dash they diagnosed 2 coil packs going down. They are going to replace all 4 spark plugs and coil packs next week. They also said that I may now need a new catalytic converter. Has anyone had any issues with this sort of proble

Last summer while in the heat of southern France, my A5 (Dec-2017, 40,000 mile) developed a front suspension creak. It was always at low speed and particularly when turning left. The car was completely checked on my return, 'shaked, rattled and rolled', but steadfastly refused to creak once, however, everything was checked, levered, put in a shaking plate, and no creaks or movement in joints found, and so while noisy, the car was declared 'good' (safe).
