Hi I have a 2008 2.0 s line auto avant, on stating from cold it's quite sharp but when warm seems to then have a very slight shudder on starting almost like the stater is jumping on the fly wheel. Anyone experienced this noise or have any surguestons what I could starts to look at first.

I think the most well known cause of this is the dual mass flywheel on the multitronic gearbox.

Also I have seen some people talk about the battery which I thought was odd, although apparently it's something to do with the injectors not opening.

I reckon it's most likely the flywheel though...
