Airbag light won't go off!

Featured Replies

Hi gentlemen. I've just fitted a Parrot Tablet System  in my 2011 Sport. Prior to removing the glove box I turned the passenger airbag off to air on the side of caution while routing cables etc.

I've since put it all back together, reconnected the harness at the back of the glove box and turned the passenger airbag back on. The light in the centre has turned off but the red light on the instrument panel has remained on. A friend has tried removing the light with his VAGCOM but it turns itself back on.

I'm going to have the glove box back off and check wiring to make sure I've not snagged anything. Is there anything it could be?

More than likely a lose connector I would have thought if you disturbed it in the first place. Best to retrace your steps and check everything. Sucks when that happens after completing an otherwise nice job!
