Wheel balancing issue?

  • Author

Hi

i have balanced all four wheels last week. It's weird it only happens about 80% of the time.

it feels like a misfire rather than running gear. Maf, coils, plugs, lamda all changed. Fuel consumption is down to 25mph.

garage (Bosch specialists) are just randomly changing components so costing at the mo.

i had same issue on a 1.8t and practically changed every component on car including flywheel clutch and both subframes.

the AA ran a diagnosis last week (vw specialist) and mentioned it needs a software update but diagnosed lamda sensors. Was wandering if the software update is required. Any thoughts anyone?

25mpg? Is it petrol or diesel? The only reason I ask is that 25 mpg isn't that bad for a petrol v6?
