Morning All :)

Having had an A6 in the past I decided that I should follow a similar route this time around, although this time I seem to have gone for an A8 instead.

I'm certainly happy as can be so far although I'm still working my way through the manual (and using trial and error) to get to grips with everything.

Hi Stuart, welcome to AOC.

Must admit I do like a nice A8... got any pics? What engine/spec did you go for?

I'll get some pics at the weekend but she's silver with black leather interior and the V8 4.0 TDi

Nice engine I bet that's torquey? :naughty:

It's certainly a lot of fun :yahoo:

Glad you're enjoying it... get some photos up when you have a minute

I will get around to pics soon but she's been off the road for the last week after a faulty relay caused the compressor to run non-stop so that's all being replaced in the next few days.

Oh that's a bit of bad luck. Cheap enough though?

Local VAG specialist thankfully as a compressor direct from Audi would be £1250 on its own.

Ouch that would have been a bit of a shock after just getting the car!

It would but that's the peril of buying a car that's a few years old I guess. Still, once it's done then (fingers crossed) there won't be any more major issues ;)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Hopefully they've just been snowed under and it won't affect the size of your bill!

They were snowed under and the bill is very reasonable in all fairness too :)

Picking her up in a couple of hours and looking forward to it, the other half's Peugeot 207 just isn't the same...
