Just a quick hello.

I have owned my Audi A6 Avant for the last 13 years - it's been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned.  It is getting some electrical niggles, but nothing too alarming, so I'd like to hold onto it for another 6-12 months.

The front off side wheel arch is beginning to show rust and paint bubbles, so could do with replacing.  Is there a used parts forum where I can get one on this site,please?

That's a long time to own a car, you must be really pleased with it to keep it for that long!

I am very pleased with it James.  It's been fully maintained, so I guess that always helps.  As you can imagine, it's been on some journyes in the UK and the continent over the years and never missed a beat.  When the kids were younger, it was a brilliant load lugger and met all our needs in terms of room and comfort.  Being an auto sport, it's also been able to deliver the power when required in all conditions.

I'll be sad to see it go, but as I have mentioned, it is beginning to get some electrical gremlins now.  I can put up with these for the moment, but need to replace the front wing.

 

The replacement is very likely to be another A6 Avant, but I'm not 100% sure on which engine size and spec.  Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated!

Can you chaps confirm my car is the C5 derivative, please? (apologies, I'm not to familiar with the model numbers).  I need this so that I can post a wanted ad for the wing.  Thank you.
