Audi A4 1.8T B8 - Black/blue exhaust smoke.

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

My Audi A4 1.8T B8 has been producing some black/blueish exhaust smoke recently, there's also a strange sound between revs and when turning the engine off. I've uploaded two short videos of the issue below:

Do you guys have any idea what it could be? I've heard a few different things so far. The car it's self does use a lot of oil and is close the the 1L/1000km set by Audi, could this be related?

The car it's self drives fine, haven't noticed any issue with acceleration/turbo.

Any help or feedback is massively appreciated!!

Thanks!
