grahamjf Posted August 31, 2016 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Hi allHad my 2005 Audi A4 2.0tdi in to get scanned by Audi and it came up with the engine hydro mount. the sensor has broken off the mount. The guy at the garage suggested that you could bridge the two wires that connect to the mount and that would stop the code from coming back.Has anyone tried this before?Would this cause the eml to come on? Trevor Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 I would imagine bridging the wires would complete the circuit to switch the lamp off (if the code is showing open circuit) but does it affect the engine smoothness at all?
