Hi guys. Right, Ive got an Audi a4 s-line 1.8 cabriolet and my window reg well, cable has snapped so i took the door panel off and wrote the part number down and ordered a replacement which turned out to be for the 5 door :/ I then went on ebay and have now ordered 2 more parts which are both wrong. Ive found the one that i need finally but its like 200 odd quid for the whole lot. I only need the cable. Can anyone help me with the correct cable i need to fix it? many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I've had this problem before (on a Land Rover) and just replaced a cable but the cable just broke almost instantly....false economy in the long run

May have to bite the bullet unless you can find one through Eurocarparts and look for a discount code to lessen the blow a little.
