Does anyone on this forum have a 2016 A4 Avant 2.0? I'm seriously considering buying one but I'm put off a little by some reviews I've read. Claimed combined consumption is around 70mpg but a couple of the motoring mags say that in real life it's about 40 which isn't that good these days. Any owners who can tell me please? Anything else about the new Avant I should be aware of? Thanks.

It seems that manufacturers' claims are substantially higher than anyone ever experiences in real life.

It also depends on driving styles, roads, traffic, etc...probably all tested on French motorways where there is hardly any traffic at all.
