Hi I've had my A3 sports for a couple of months now and absolutely love it - but it seems to use a lot of coolant.  I have had it checked, there is no leak anywhere, and pressure test was good, so not leaking into the oil.  Anyone got any ideas?  Could it be to do with heating matrix??  Have had to top up about 300mls three times in 2 months.  It is early 2004 year.  Help please, anyone!!!

Hi Ali...welcome to the Forum

The first place I would check out is the coolant reservoir pressure cap....if that is weak (it can be pressure tested) then it can allow coolant to escape as vapour if it doesn't hold the pressure to at least 14-18 psi.
