Help Warning Light Issue !!!!

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I have a 2007 A4 Cabriolet 2.0 Petrol. Yesterday I changed the number plate bulbs for some LED ones which were supposed to be canbus friendly, alas not as the dash error came up. I took the bulbs out and replaced with the original 5 watt bulbs which worked fine, but the dash error is still showing ?? On top of this and I dont know whether it is coincidence or not, but the traction light has appeared on the dash now and will not go out ?? I am racking my brains trying to think of an answer, I did disconnect the battery terminal for 10 mins, this does a reset on my Insignia not sure if it works that way with the Audi. Any help guys will be gratefully received.......

Hi....welcome to the Forum

You may just need to drive the car for a while for it to relearn after the battery disconnect.

Not sure about the LED bulbs you got but it would only be down to resistance (or lack of it) that's putting the light on...maybe try a different make of bulbs?

Let us know how you get on with it all.

Cheers  Trevor
