Warpyb1 Posted November 2, 2016 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Afternoon all, I'm about to take delivery of my A7 2017 car with Techpack (Black Edition) having just looked the specs I see now (which, I've missed) is that the new A7 2017 model year can have car play (£250) extra. So I'm guessing it's a software upgrade. Spoken to dealer and they say it's a factory fit option!? Trevor Posted November 3, 2016 Share Posted November 3, 2016 Hi Michael...welcome to the Forum I would have thought is was just a case of opening up the option through a software update as opposed to a complete unit replacement at the factory...maybe they are referring to the initial setup procedure (PDI) where this may have occurred at the factory but could still I would have thought been carried out at the dealership.
