New Member Intro and First Query!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am embarking on my first Audi purchase in the coming weeks. I am based in Dublin and will more than likely import a UK reg A4.

My initial query if I would appreciate some guidance on concerns the speedometer. I am aware that the analogue speedo is in mph with a digital speedo between the two clocks on the dashboard which also reads in mph.

Can someone please let me know whether the digital speedo can be set in Kmh instead?

Many thanks,

Albert

Hi Albert...welcome to the Forum

Not entirely sure if you can change it easily but with the MMI SatNav if it knows you are in a RHD or LHD zone (e.g. UK or Europe) then it should display the correct setting.

If not, then a specialist Audi repairer should be able to permanently alter it by plugging in the correct diagnostic equipment to alter vehicle settings.

Worth checking the Handbook first just to see if it is something you can quickly change.

Let us know how you get on with it

Cheers  Trevor
