I have got a couple of questions regarding my audi, I have an audi a1 and the maps/ sat nav are not on the MMI, do I have to buy them or is there somewhere I can maybe download them onto a SD card?

There seems to be some controversy over this issue, e.g. Audi require you to purchase the updates through them on a regular basis (due to going out of date rapidly) and it's not the cheapest....around £200 I believe.

Alternatively, you can purchase maps on the SD card but they will probably be out of date by the time they hit eBay....certainly the case for a Honda that I own....and I believe it will also need activating to the car.
