SQ5 Remap

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am new both to this forum and Audi. I recently purchased a 2015 SQ5 and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for remapping suppliers.

On my previous two cars (non Audi) I used DMS Automotive which i was happy with however they are a little on the pricey side.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Kapil

HI, just seen your message, could you say what you mean by 'remapping'

Sorry, i should have been more specific. I am referring to an ECU remap / tune up, to increase bhp.

Thanks,

Kapil

Why would you want to increase the BHP? I find there aren't enough opportunities to use what it currently has unless you don't take account of speed limits.

Hi,

In the end I went with DMS http://www.dmsautomotive.com/ who I have used on my past 2 cars.

Thanks for all your advice.

Hi Kapil

Had mine done at litchfield and its really good, I've had my M3 done at DMS and again they are great. what did they get from the SQ5?

Hi Lee,

I haven't put it on a rolling road so cant exactly verify it however its meant to be 405 BHP & 555 ft-lb torque.

How about yours?

Kapil

Yes around the same 400bhp and 550 torque give a take a couple

I've just bought a 2015 SQ5 and I'm considering the DTUK tuning box, these can be installed / removed by yourself at any time, theres loads on info online for them if you search for it, and a lot of people seem to rave about these boxes.

Will this not effect the clutch and flywheel or is it perfectly capable of handling this sort of power?

I’ve a 2016 SQ5 340. Had it dyno’d and stock power was actually just over 360bhp. Had a stage 1 remap done at JFA Maidstone for £500. Came out at 393bph and 801nm torque. Totally different car now. So smooth and fast. Well worth the money
