Not sure if this is the right place, but seemed most suitable.

over the next few weeks i'll have a full copy of VCDS (not lite) installed on my laptop along with the correct cable.

i'm located just outside Derby (border of Derby and Nottingham), if anyone needs anything doing feel free to reply and we can arrange for you to pop round. i could even throw in a cuppa!

    I've now got the lead and installed the latest version of VCDS. reset my service reminder, read and cleared any faults. now to drive it for a bit and get a fresh run of any fault codes. 

    time to start reading up on mods, like  needle sweep, etc! :)
