Hi

i have an Audi A4 avant with standard MMI including the standard navigation system. The entertainment fader option in the sounds setting has stopped working when reversing and also voice guidance in the sat nav. Tried flicking through the options (off, low, medium, high) and nothing helps. Has anyone else seen or had this happen and how did you resolve? 

Not the expert in the inner workings of MMI...but if the sound drops off when reversing isn't this maybe to do with being able to hear reverse sensors, etc?

thats what I want it to do and it was but yesterday the option to adjust how loud that volume goes too when selecting reverse just stopped working. 

oh sorry, got it the wrong way round.

First thoughts....check the reverse light to see if it is working, if not....maybe the signal is not reaching the MMI to show reverse gear?

yes that works and the parking sensors activate it's just the sound not turning off and also when the sat nav is active the sound does not decrease when the voice guidance kicks. I think it's a software glitch 

sorry, thought to check the obvious first but I'm out of ideas for the MMI, hopefully someone can shine some light on this?
