Evening everyone.

 

I've had an oil level warning on the car (A4 avant B8) for a little bit now, but according to the dip stick, my oil level is just on the max.

After having a garage run a diagnostic check on it, they've informed me it a faulty sensor.

I'm going to order a replacement, where about is the sensor located?

any help would be appreciated.

 

 I believe the level sensor is in the sump its self.

If its like the vw golfs theres two holes in the sump one for the sump plug and the other for the level sensor.
