Hi Folks. I have an Audi 80 B4 series 2.0 litre, 8 valve,  ABT Engine. Does anyone know if rough idling or erratic/uneven idling is a common problem with this engine as I have seen another owner with the same problem with a Volkswagen Transporter T25 2.0 litre petrol in a monthly magazine publication in the problem/letters page as I have experienced the same problems and does anyone know a fix/cure for this?

I had the same problem on my Audi cabriolet 2.6E 1994 I had to buy a second hand throttle body,this cured the problem.
