Audi indicator problem

Featured Replies

Hi
I was wondering if you would be able to answer a question for me.
I have an old style model 2004 Audi A6.
The airbag light came on, it turns out one of the connectors had came lose under the passenger seat. I reconnected it and then I reset the airbag warning light.
Next time I drove the car I noticed that the indicators were not working, they would turn on but not flash. I have found the problem to be the mechanical relay in the hazard switch assembly.

Are the air bag and the indicator problem related, and should I check anything else?

Many thanks

Matthew

Hi Matthew...welcome to the Forum

Apart from the fact that they may be linked by way of the Hazards coming on when the Airbags are deployed I cannot see that there would be any common factor with the pre-tensioner connection and the relay...sorry, but think it's pure coincidence.

Hope it's all sorted now?

Cheers,  Trevor
