  1. No prize but what's different on the front bumper (honeycomb grill excluded) on this S Line compared to a stock S Line? 🤔 😃

Ok, i know its maybe eye and beholder material....BUT...in my opinion, best ever model available was B9 mofel years LATE 16 to early 18 ? The 190 ultra model, just gets better with age and mileage....in avant form, currently giving 78 to 85 on motorway in efficiency mode - and much nicer looking from front than post 18 models ! Was looking to replace with identical spec, due to creeping mileage, but seems VERY hard to find... Audi A4 Avant S-line 190 Ultra S-Tronic 16 - 18 👍👍
  3. We had this problem last week driving to Devon, the power dropped and the ignition light started flashing. It’s been diagnosed as the intake manifold flap sticking, probably the motor has gone. Apparently it’s a common fault. Our turbo has leaked some oil into there too so that’s not helping.
  4. Yes it's one of those intermittent faults that will never happen when they have your car can honestly say doesn't do it very often I just thought it was the car deciding to put it into a different mode to suit your driving but that's what auto mode is for so shouldn't be doing it.just tell ya wife that s mode means ya going to be SKINT if she doesn't change it back 🤣
  5. As the battery is only two years old it is unlikely to be the cause of the problems, though I would not entirely rule it out. In your position I would have it deep discharge tested just to be sure. If the faults lie elsewhere I doubt I can contribute anything useful so I shall leave it to others to assist.
  6. Compared to standard or rs? The shape of the s line bumper will be different. Even if ever so slightly.
  7. That's annoying. Definitely check turbo hoses first for leaks.

Agree, On my longer trips, i usually set off early in morning, and stick to around 56mph, on the way back - its a different story haha ! So outward journey 80 plus...return journey average 66mpg.....still an incredible daily mpg, esp for such a comfortable car, with most of the 'extras' you need in a business class vehicle. Off topic, not long after i aquired it, i saw an identical spec, but with red leather seat option, and panoramic glass roof - not many like that out there !!
  9. I had this on my A5 Resolved by increasing the button press time to 2 seconds with VCDS I think default was something like 600ms lol

Hi Paddy, if you can publish the codes that have come up that would give a vast insight in to whats going on, the term DPF issues is a broad church and I agree with you not going down the delete route as it will definitely come back and savage your backside and your wallet at a later date so please, please, codes then we can very possibly aim you down the cheaper more practical route, DO NOT GO TO AUDI, unless you want to remortgage your house and sell the wife and kids to a white slave trader. Steve.
  12. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up with the radio.
