There are plenty of automotive locksmiths around if you don't fancy Audi prices.

John. Search other sections of these forums for mild hybrid to see if symptoms described there match yours.
  3. So, I have standard S line alloys and about 2 years ago I got warning light low pressure front right, thought nothing of it gave it some air and reset. Happened again, usually within a week depending of usage. So I went to tyre shop and got a new tyre. Then same again. I swapped the wheel over and same. But the tire is losing pressure. So I got a whole new set of Alloys (needed them) and what do you know front right low pressure..... Has anyone come across this? coudl it be TPMS playing up? Tyre guy said older wheel was not sealing right at the rim. Its just funny it happened same corner on new wheels. I will swap the fronts around thsi weekend and reset again to see but just asking the question when I can. Oh VCDS all clear
  4. I’ve now received confirmation that my vehicle rejection has been accepted, and I’m currently awaiting further details on the next steps. As we purchased the car outright, it’ll be interesting to see how this progresses and what the final resolution looks like. For context, the car is a Q5 Edition 1 TDI in Daytona Grey, with panoramic roof, air suspension, and a 5-year Audi warranty. We secured it with a very strong discount at the time of purchase. Depending on how things are valued during the process, it may make more sense to sell it privately. It’s also worth noting the car has had: Stage 1 paint correction Ceramic coating Front and rear dash cams professionally installed Private registration plate I’ll update the thread once I know more.
  5. Yes , I am considering second hand one, there is few options . Next week hopefully I’ll have a time remove gearbox, see what condition clutch set is, read part number and shop around few scrapyards .
  6. Booked in for battery check, will feedback on outcome.

That’s a cracking motor! I’ve wanted one for about 40 years, hoping to keep this one for life. I know what you mean by selling that one, as done for the right reasons at the time, I’ve had to do the same myself, but always will have regrets. I literally fall in love with my cars, & money & space available would never have sold one, your current one looks great

No shame intended Paul. Just respect for your wallet, and appreciation of buying quality parts at competitive prices. Recommendations:- have a look at Brembo from reputable EBay sellers. I’ve always had good service from Parts in Motion - if it helps. Regards, Gareth.
