  1. Hi Julia...welcome to the Forum It is worth looking at other variants of the A3 for replacement parts such as Volkswagen and Skoda as they all pretty much use the same chassis components....may find they are being offered cheaper than Audi parts. Use websites like http://www.eurocarparts.com/ and http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A3-S3/Steering-Racks--Boxes/33589 Also, £600 for labour is an horrific cost, shouldn't be more than about 2 hours work tops! Let us know what you find Cheers Trevor

  2. In the theme of this thread, got the A6 s-line in Sept last year. It's the model I have hankered for for many a year. Love the clean lines the C6 has. It's silver but has an Ignis white/ black vinyl wrap and you really have to know your A6's to work out its age. Only things I have done so far myself is powder coat the standard 18's black and get 4 new grippy Uniroyal rain tyres. Have also bought a like new armrest with Audi phone, still need to fit this to appease my OCD. I know a bit sad but I like it. Now need to sort this misfire it's developed. Other than that a good service for now.

  6. She handles terribly, as you can imagine! And in answer to the most asked question, I usually reply "why not!".
