  1. I guess, most of the models are using the same motor. When needed, it might be a good idea to go to the salvage yard to check the motor if it fits in its place before buying a new one.
  2. Hello Onur, First of all, after removing the factory head unit, you should remove the climate panel and cut the plastic parts under the frame which surrounds the ESP switch and the other blank (dead) covers so that you can get a space for double din size in there. I placed the climate panel bottom just above the ashtray. So, the head unit is retrofitted in between the switches and the climate panel. You can find the useful info in the topic below. Should you have any further assistance and information, please let me know. Good luck...
  3. Thank you Steve. Except for the on and off trips to Greece and Bulgaria together with my wife, we realized a trip to Montenegro last year with my son. He established a company over there and will be the resident in the process of time. Since he has aviophobia (fear of flight), we chose driving. The road plan included Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro finally. It was amazing to climb the mountains from nearly Serbia-Montenegro border to Tivat. It was nice to see heaven right after downhill in Montenegro. It took 1700 km total from home, Ankara/Turkey to Tivat/Montenegro. Trip plan was made up of two laps. One was from Ankara to Edirne (Kapikule border), and the other one was from Edirne to Tivat. We spent one night in Edirne to get some sleep and rest. Edirne-Tivat was nearly 1000 km but took 16 hours because of the mountains and the 80 km speed limit. On the wayback home, I was alone and I took Albania, Greece and Turkey road. I spent one night in Greece and had a chance to see Atatürk's House in Thessaloniki. Here are some pics from Montenegro and road map below. By the way, in my garage, I was trying to retrofit DIY front park sensors and a camera on weekend; I accidentally contacted 12V to the front camera output of the head unit. Somewhere burned of course... 🙄. I will have head unit fixed or buy another Chinese unit...😞
  4. Hello, 1. As I mentioned above, I bought a Chinese unit which is NewFron NF-ANA02 brand and model. It surely incorporates with igo navigation (I chose that), handsfree calling (via bluetooth, of course) and uses Spotify (because unit has Android). You can google it and find similar products in the internet. Here's the internet picture of the unit. On the other hand, you can watch DVDs and, internet TV if you do not care about tethering issues consuming your phone's internet plan.😉 2. Yes, you can. I uploaded igo and the related maps. Every year I plan a trip to Europe by using the igo Nav System and the maps.
  5. Thank you. If I could serve the purpose, I will be so glad...
  6. Hi, I suffered the same issue. I think we can never keep away from that problem. I removed the wiper motor by removing the plastic trim covering the area first (just undo the two screws inside the both handles that could not be seen unless you bend over) and then by pulling the trim backwards. You can easily remove the motor by undoing the three 10 mm nuts, motor connector and thin water hose, after removing the 13 mm nut under the wiper arm. Remember that you should gently remove the plastic cover to see the 13 mm nut under the cover. Remember to wiggle the wiper arm to get the motor assembly from the tailgate. Place the wiper on the bench. Remove the electric motor from the wiper section in which the gear placed. And, undo the 6 torx screws from the wiper section. You will see water, rust and contaminated grease remains inside other than a worm gear, a gear, and an arm that moving the wiper. Clean everything and lubricate using a thin grease and then reassemble everything. It is not complicated job and after fixing the wiper motor, I have been using it for almost two months and had no problem with that. Good luck...
  7. I had it done for my A3 8P, 2006 model year... It's NewFron brand, made in China and so useful, and looks fine...
  8. You may have a front bearing problem. I strongly recommend that you check the bearings while you turning the steering wheel left to right on the smooth road at the 65-70 km speed.
  9. I have just bought an Audi A3, 2006 hatcback with 1.6 engine. Hoping that, I would learn many thing from you and have several questions here. * Comfort Control Module (CCM) is broken according to the electrician and, the CCM needs to be replaced. What are the differences between the letters (C, J, K, etc...) at the and of the number on the CCM like in 8P0959433C? Can I buy an install any of the CCM from any A3, 2006? * Could a cruise control retrofit be possible? If yes, would a single stalk with cruise buttons be enough or, should I buy complete a retrofit kit including both signal stalk and a cruise stalk in one kit? * A warning always says "headlight and rain sensor defective". What is this and how can I solve that? Should I buy a new mirror with a rain sensor and a headlight sensor? * My Audi's wiper stalk has timer on it. As far as I know, a timer should not be in a stalk that controls the auto wipers??? * How can I get the owner's manual and workshop manual? Is there any link other than buying from Ebay? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you...
