  1. Hi all, Im trying to buy a 4gb SD card thats compatible with the Audi Concert. Ive read i need a non SC card, but they are hard to get hold of, but that Amazon do sell them. I've looked on Amazon and cannot find any - i've also googled it and didnt find any anywhere else either. Could someone who has also bought one in the past, be kind enough to post a link to where i can get one? Cheers
  2. Assuming you DO have the AMI in the glove box, the simpliest thing i did was buy an AMI to USB lead then plugged in a pen drive with music on. I tried numerous tune2air devices and none worked for me.
  3. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how it works. But if I go to my Bluetooth onm u phone it shows one for the phone in the arm rest and another called audi something or other. If I connect it to the audi one it works fine and doesn't use the phone on the arm rest
  4. You should be able to connect your phone via bluetooth directly to the MMI. Thats how i connect my phone and make calls and i have one of those phone in the arm rest too - never use it.
  5. No other way but to you compressors on them then? i cant just disconnect an arm or two? Appreciate the reply
  6. Hi all, I've searched online and not really found anything definitive. My question is - Is it possible to replace the rear springs on an Audi A6 C6 without the one sided spring compressors. I do have spring compressors but read you need the type that have the disc that sits on the spring coil and attaches on only one side. or could you undo the control arms and drop the spring that way? Thanks.
  7. That good news id looked at cost of the spring compressors and they're pricey. May I ask what was the cost of the springs and the labour cost - as a rough estimate?
  8. Can you remove the springs without the special audi spring compressor?
  9. Yeah thats what im thinking. Can i assume the spring colours will always be on part of the spring thats visible without removing it?
  10. Thanks Piotr for confirming. Raises my suspicion about the other spring with no markings on it.
  11. Anyone know the colour codes the Sline 1bv springs should be.. one side of mine has yellow blue orange orange and nothing on the otherside - which appears to sit higher than the colour codes side. Im thinking someone has fitted an incorrect spring at some point - neither spring is broken from what i can see under the car. Cant find info on the A6 C6 spring colour codes.
  12. Yeah I realise the seals wont show, but I was thinking maybe the ticking is one of the injectors. Maybe the one showing as +0.99. Which is what cylinder number? Drivers bank passenger bank 1 2 3 4 5 6
  13. Took the injector readings today and they are as follows 0.99, - 0.33, -0.38 -0.24, -0.42, 0.38
  14. That's reassuring. Any special tools required to change them?
  15. Hi guys, Im hoping you can shine some light on what maybe the issue. Bought my A6 2.7 and ran it for a couple of weeks. But then change the oil and filter on it using quantuam 5w30 507.00. Since then ive got a ticking noise from the right bank. Sounds a quite light ticking. It appears louder from the centre of the cam cover - possibly injector?? You can notice at idle and speed increases with rev. Until about 2000rpm which is when it appears to disappear (or drowned out) Just strange i didnt notice this before the oil change, cant see how an oil change would affect the injector. Thanks in advance! Gareth
  16. Tried a second tune2air device and still the same. Should the ami power the Bluetooth device? So I give up with it. Will try a USB cable with flash drive.
  17. Well that again was disappointing. Upgraded software to the latest and last version for mmi 2g and still hasn't got Bluetooth working. Bovee1000 no power to it. Reordered a tune2air again to see if that works again with the updated software. What a joke. Final attempt before I revert to the sd card idea. Is there a way to Check the ami is active? Could it be that the Bluetooth devices are fine and it is Infact the ami not powering them.
  18. The tune2air I bought (the wma3000a) had the cable hard wired to it. I've since ordered a bovee 1000a. I realise the tune2air and bovee are the same but the tune2air 1000a isn't available anymore, can't see it for sale. Anyway, the bovee I think uses the original ipod cable that I have. So we'll see lol otherwise it'll continue to be a bit of a headache.
  19. OK what a palava this is turning into, just to be able to use a bluetooth device. So i have version 5140, so bought some cds to update it to v5570. THEN i can try the bluetooth thing again, which i sent back lol.. but ive ordered a different one. Failing that ill reorder the same one again. Also ill be able to check the green hidden menu is set to what it needs to be .. I realise im talking to myself at the mo, but if it works, itll be useful for others in the future.
  20. I think im just going to go down the route of a standard MMI to USB cable then just plug a usb pen drive or SSD into it. Seems to be the simpler option tbh.
  21. Given it another go, found it needs a separate power supply. So plugged it into the 12v socket. Phone connects, but the mmi says it may not be connected correctly. It did at one point say it was initialising, but came to nothing. Disappointing. Are the Bovee and tune2air the same device?
