  1. Ah checking the disc, it says hand book on it. Nevermind
  2. Is that in the boot, as neither units look like a dvd player. Pic above
  3. Red screen (in instrument cluster I assume you mean)
  4. Ok, im hoping thats good news then. My MMI says its not installed. But i did get a CD with the car (though havent tried it). Am i being naive in thinking i can put the CD in and install the satnav? Seems a big piece of kit just for sat nav.
  5. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the device is behind the removal panel on the Passenger side. it has a plastic frame and almost looks like a stack of HDDs in a cage? Thanks.
  6. I did forget to mention, in regards to the intake manifold issue on the other car. Found a receipt from Audi stating the eml being on and the n/s intake manifold was at fault. They've replaced both intake manifolds at 413 quid each, plus 402 quid labour. Ouch!! At least it'd done though.
  7. Also, it unfortunately only came with one key. I have the plastic key and the number. Any ideas how much audi charge to code a new key?
  8. Cheers, dude. For a 10 year old car it drives like new.
  9. OK apparently that is normal. I didn't go with the le mans in the end, as I didn't want to take the risk with the eml being on, despite the seller saying he'd drop the price. It was too risky. Paul thanks for the replies mate 👍 In the end I've gone for a 2.7 sline. Instead of the 2.7 le mans sline. Doesn't seem to be any difference in spec between the two apart from the 19 inch rs4 (I think they're the rs4 wheels - 7 dual spoke). Instead mine came with 18 inch 5 spokes. Just had a run back from Birmingham to Leeds. Car didn't miss a beat, runs as smooth as, it's effortless. It needs tidying up a bit - cracked fog light, cracked rear light, missing boot cover, needs some news pads all round. Also one think I didn't notice when viewing, didn't notice until I got home is it looks like the passenger rear door has had a poor respray. Its very orange peely and duller than the drivers door. Also a paint patch in one of the sills. However there is no rust 👍 Paint work could do with tidying up. I'm going to get full detail done to tidy it up, which will show what is a genuine paint issue and not a scuff that could get buffed out.
  10. Also it's a manual and we trying to start says but foot on clutch and put in n or p
  11. No worries thanks. Gone to see another. More miles. Looks good. Couple of small issues but nothing major, no engine light. Is the rear wiper not working common. The rear wiper isn't at its resting position and doesn't work on the stalk.
  12. Yeah I'd read that. Is it easy to fix or expensive and time consuming
  13. OK so I'm literally at the car now. All looks good but the engine light is on. Code showing a p3008 intake manifold control running open circuit p3008. How serious is this? Car idles fine, though a little tappy but assume that's cos it's a v6. Revs OK too. Gonna take it for a spin and see
  14. Ah OK just hidden from view. Non of the pictures show that angle. That's good to know - a nice simple dipstick.
  15. But the 2.7 is sensors? Can't see a dipstick in any of the engine bay pics I've looked at.
  16. Also, when changing rear pads. Can vagcom (vcds) be used to wind the caliper piston back?
  17. Thanks for the info. I take it the 2.7 and 3.0 diesels have oil level sensors instead of a dipstick?
  18. Cheers for the vid, informative. Reading further online, whatcar says the le mans Was introduced in 2009. By the car I'm going to see and another I've seen for sale are 57 and 08 plate respectively?
