Parking Sensors
Hi Eamon, Sounds like a faulty sensor to me. You have 2 options: Either scan with VAGCOM and it will tell you which sensor is faulty or With the ignition on (but no engine), engage reverse and jump out of the car after the constant beep. Put your ear close to each sensor and you should hear a clicking. The one that doesn't click is faulty. Once you replace the faulty sensor that should cure the fault.

Likely to be a sensor I would have thought. What was the exact code?

Hi all
Hi Colin welcome to the club :) Post some photos up of the car when you get a minute. Also, I'm sure you'll get used to the audio controls after a while it usually takes a bit of time when you get a new car. Was there anything in particular you were struggling to get to grips with?

Newbie 3.2 V6 advice
Have you seen this one? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201507054921810?page=1&sort=locasc&maximum-mileage=up_to_70000_miles&model=a3&make=audi&transmission=automatic&search-target=usedcars&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&engine-size-cars=3l_to_3-9l&postcode=wf13qp&radius=1500&logcode=p Looks really tidy, recently serviced at Audi and has Pirelli P Zero tyres. Premium tyres are usually a sign the previous owner looked after it!

Probably best to be honest if you spot something like that. Looked nice though, but plenty more cars out there. Spotted anything else worth taking a look at yet?

AdBlue Query
I read somewhere that it's a 17 litre tank but you should probably check your manual to be sure. Apparently you need to top up my a minimum amount (saw something about 5.7 litres) for it to register. That's really expensive at Halfords. Apparently some BP garages sell it via a pump for HGVs at around 60-70p per litre and you can fill up with that?

A6 4.2 rough idle/hesitation/misfire on part throttle, OK on full throttle. Help!
Fair enough, that make sense! Well, I hope you get to the bottom of the problem - it's always so frustrating when you're willing to fix something and don't know what it is! :(

Newbie 3.2 V6 advice
It's not the V6 it's a 1.8T but tuned up by Quattro GmbH to produce 240bhp. It's also 75kg lighter and came with only 2 seats but proper buckets. It also has a few other tasty extras too. Audi only made 800 of them so they're quite rare and prices are strong. Here's an example of one on Auto Trader: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201510047495283?postcode=bh236nx&page=1&make=audi&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&price-to=10000&sort=pricedesc&radius=1500&search-target=usedcars&keywords=quattro%20sport&zero-to-60=fast&engine-size-cars=1-7l_to_1-9l&model=tt&logcode=p Still has the V6 bodytkit but this is a little faster.

There's also the A6 Ultra which is meant to be pretty efficient and I'd imagine quite comfortable being an A6. Not sure if this one is involved in the scandal at all though? I guess your only other option for something efficient would be a hybrid but that would involve moving away from Audi...

I take it you've tried obvious stuff like injectors and fuel filter etc. My knowledge of LPG is fairly limited I'm afraid! :(

Q7 Bike Rack
I normally recommend Thule products as they're really good quality. However, it doesn't appear they list a rear mount for the Q7. It may be that your only options are towbar or roof mount. Personally, the towbar or roof mounted systems are much better but I understand what you mean about investing in it.

Split rim Alloys
Split rim alloys can be refurbed just a bit of a pain which is why some garages won't want to do it. Just need to speak to a a few specialists. Sometimes they don't come apart too easily,

It is a chain cam that's supposed to be lifetime although it can stretch sometimes I believe. The DSG box is nice to use but can occasionally cause problems. Personally I love the limited Quattro Sport model but these are getting expensive these days!

Not sure if the following is helpful to you at all: http://workshop-manuals.com/audi/a4_mk3/body/general_body_repairs_interior/passenger_protection/crash_sensors_for_airbags/overview_of_crash_sensors_for_airbags/

Random Airbag Light when acceleration or go over a bump!
I'm not 100% sure but I think they may be at the front of the car by the radiator. You will need to disconnect the battery before removing/refitting it.

Some question about rods? Please help me?
That's a little technical for me I'm afraid but can I ask why/what you're doing?
