  1. Hi, Have you checked all the sensors are working? I think if one has gone faulty the whole system packs up. I had the same issue, replaced dodgy one and system work fine again.
  2. Hi Chaps, Recently I have been able to smell fumes inside the car. Any Ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hi, I want to give my throttle body a clean. I'm not putting a new one it. Can anyone tell me if I will need to re-programme it or can I just take it out, clean it, put it back and away I go? Thanks
  4. Hi, I recently had to change my alternator and between one thing and another the battery was disconnected. Since then I've had a few electrical "issues" with things not working (fuel gauge, keyless entry, rear demister, heated seats...........) Some things have sprung back to life by themselves. Also I'm getting a little "hop" on the rev counter if I'm trying to hold revs at around 1500. Has anyone had experience with this? Should everything work itself out? Does the car need to have some programming redone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. Hi All, Sorry in advance if this has already come up. This morning my glove box wouldn't open. It didn't give any hint something was on it's way out like a dodgy switch or connection....worked fine then didn't. I've released it manually and checked nothing was jamming it, checked the fuse which seems to be fine. Any ideas before I start taking it to pieces?? Thanks
  6. Thanks for the reply. I keep getting the adaptive warning light, take the headlight out, fix a broken wire, put back. Its ok for a while then repeat. All the wires seem perished and brittle (I suppose that's what 275K does to a car). I love the car but these headlights will be the death of me. I really don't want to shell out for two new ones. I've been quoted £1800.
  7. Anyone tried to dismantle (and put back together) the headlight unit. I've seen videos on youtube but they seem to destroy the headlight. The motors in my headlights may need replacing in the near future. I've been told it's a sealed unit but the motors are available to buy so I'm thinking its doable. Thanks
  8. Oh no sorry to here that 🤬🤜 Thanks for the info.
  9. Shame, Thanks, Sorry to be a pain but on the part codes for the headlights there are two letters on the end, do you know whats these mean? Mine read 4F0941029 EH, I can find others that read 4F0941029 EJ. Do you know what the diffence is? Trying to source some used ones. Thanks
  10. They turn on corners. The headlights are Xenons that self level and corner The motors in the headlights are very worn and don't really adjust properly. Replacement headlights like for like are really expensive but I can buy a pair without the cornering or just basic xenons that fit a lot cheaper. If I swap them out not like for like the car is likely to throw up a least an error for the cornering depending on which ones I get. I heard somewhere that it's possible to delete the coding for the dynamic cornering so the car doesn't even try anymore and therefore no error.
  11. Stu3385, Did the new bulbs sort out your dim headlights issue? I've got the same issue.
  12. Hi, Do you know if it's possible to turn off the dynamic headlight function. I may need replace my headlights and they are a lot cheaper without. Thanks
