Good Morning, I too, have been considering( Audi all in) with an upfront price of £719,76. but after reading the above post, I am not so sure, my local Audi dealer have quoted me £509.00. for a cam belt change with free mot for life. it does seem too good to be true, regarding the warranty. My car has only covered 26,000. miles since new, in the past 5 years. it does make you think, as when the car was new, it was covered by 3 years/60,000. mile warranty, anyway, this is my 12th Audi in a row, and up till now, they have all been trouble free. makes you think about spending that kind of money!   4. Hi , I have a A4 Allroad b9 2017, 190tdi engine, does anyone know if there is room to fit a space saver wheel under the boot floor, in place of the callapsible spare, many thanks Brian.

  6. Hi, Looking at your pictures, i think I can see the problem, they are a bit awkward to fit, you have to put the left hand end in first (it goes in at an angle) then the other end should click into place. hope this helps.
  7. Hi, has anyone replaced the fuel flap actuator on a a4 Allroad b9 2017, if so, how do you go about it, it seems that you take the plastic surround off by the filler cap, but there are clips holding it in place ??

  9. Hi, I have a A4 Allroad B9 2017, I have just noticed that the fuel flap is no not locking when the rest of the car is locked, fuel flap locking plunger is free, everything else is as normal, ??

I find the best way to remove seized on wiper arms, is to. 1, remove the nut 2, squid a little wd40 round the thread. 3. put the nut back on so that it it proud of the thread I,e, only half on.thread not protruding. 4, either hold the base of the wiper arm, and pull it towards you, at the same time hit the nut with a small hammer, or if you are careful, place a small piece of wood below the arm, and apply pressure with a pryer or similar, the arm should then come off ok. p.s. works every time for me. hope this helps Brian,

Hi, I have owned 12 Audi's over the past 25 years, all but 2 being A4 Avant diesels, I am currently on my 2nd A4 Allroad, a 67 plate which I cannot fault. all of my cars have been 2ltr, I see the one you are considering is a 3ltr. as the car has only 23,000 miles I would not be concerned, as that engine is fitted across the Audi range, if you are buying from a main dealer, you will probably be offered a 2 year warranty anyway, regarding other things to look out for, in my opinion there is nothing really, as long as you are happy with the car. by the way you have extra ground clearance with the Allroad as well, and there is no a great difference in fuel consumption. hope that helps Brian.

I would take the car straight back to the Audi dealer, if the car is only 18 days old there must be a problem, either with the charging system, or it being a dud battery in the first place. i have an A4 Allroad 2017, which does not cover many miles, and last month, it was parked up for a month, whilst i was in hospital, it started perfectly after all that time. p.s. i once had a brand new saab, and after 2 weeks the battery was flat, the reason was a rogue screw had pierced the underside of the battery. Hi Robert, I have a 2017 A4 Allroad, i have been looking for a spacesaver wheel as well, but have yet to purchase one, you will have to be aware that any spacesaver you buy, will be compatable with revolutions per mile as the wheels fitted to the car,other wise, if the difference is too great, it may damage the quattro system. here is a list of tyre sizes & revolutions per mile( the first one should be the tyre size fitted to your car) 245/45 R 18.=756.3 revs per mile. 225/55 R 17.=754.5.revs per mile. the spare that comes with the car, should be size, 175/55 R19,which equates to 759.2 revs per mile, which you can see, is very close to the other sizes. i have seen a spacesaver tyre size= T125/70 R19. at 779.4. revs per mile, which is 20 more revs per mile than the original spare, if it was not run for a great mileage it would most likely to be ok just to get u home, or to a garage. the next thing, is, will it fit in the car ? let me know how u get on, hope this helps a bit. Hi, You will be able to swap the wheels front to back no problem, i am now on my 12th audi a4, & over the years have swapped the wheels round more times than i can remember. the only thing that you will probably have to do, is to reset the tyre pressure values on the computer, after you swap the wheels, give the car a run for 2/3 miles, & see if anything comes up requiring you to do this, hope this helps. Hi, That's interesting, as a couple of years ago, i was in my friends garage, & he showed me 2 fuel filters, one from his own car, (a vw golf diesel) & one from a taxi, ( another diesel) which they had just serviced, the contents of the filter from the taxi was nearly black in colour, where as the filter from the golf was quite clear, the taxi had always filled up at Tesco's, but my friend always went to Shell, Esso, or BP to fillup. I have owned vw & Audi cars for the past 30 years, & have always avoided Tesco's etc. to date i have had no fuel problems with any of my cars.

Hi Karen, I think the first thing to do is to check the brake pad thickness, to see if they are worn down to metal to metal, a visual check of the brake disc will let you see if this is the case, i think you will find that brake issues are not covered under warranty. another check to do, is to jack the car up, and rotate a wheel at a time, if you are getting a grating noise, this would indicate a problem with the brake caliper sticking. hope this helps.

  21. Hi Amanda, I have an Audi A4 Allroad B9 2017 with leather seats, they are heated. the heated seat icons are each side of the rotary dials, just press the icon & the seat will heat up , to decrease the heat in stages just keep pressing the icon (3 stages of heat)

Hi, I have an A4 Allroad 2017 with the same engine, mine has only done 18,000 miles as yet, but i will be changing the air filter myself when the time comes, there seems to be more things to remove when changing the filter on this engine, the best advice i can give, is to just take your time, and don't break any clips etc. i have always maintained all my Audi's myself, after all, if an audi mechanic can change it i'm sure you will be able to, best of luck. Hi, I am on my 12th Audi at the moment, they have all been A4s, except for one A3, the last 7 have all been Avant's, my last two Avants have both been Allroads & i can't praise them enough, my latest one, a 2017 model, B9. the one i have at the moment is a joy to drive, with the 190 tdi engine, & 7 speed S Tronic gearbox. coupled with the extra ride height, it makes a great all round car i would recommend one to anybody.
