  1. There are a couple of ways that tyre pressure is monitored. Unless it has "special" TPMS valves it's probably using the ABS/ESP sensor to measure rotation speed / rolling resistance .
  2. I'd say that the 2l 190ps in an A6 is a workhorse but not a stallion - hold out for the 3l and enjoy it.
  3. Hi - on my 68 Q5 I installed a dashcam using the passenger footwell fuse box as the source. The manual shows the locations - here's a link https://fuse-box.info/audi/audi-q5-fy-2018-2020-fuses I used D 7/8/9 as my 3 options and can't remember which one worked but they were the only ones on that side that were free for my spec and worked only with ignition on. You do have to thread the cable and/or connector through from the top fuse box but there is enough room and it allows you to run the power cable up the A pillar under the door seal and around to the windscreen. There are a few posts around about making it neater but I didn't want to disturb the A Pillar airbag.
  4. Hi All, 4 weeks into a 68 reg Q5 TFSi Sport, Manhatton Grey with Technology Pack. I've been driving Touaregs for the last 12 years - starting with 2.5 diesel and moving on to 2x 3l diesels (both Audi power units). I'm not sold on the latest Touareg and also felt that moving to a smaller petrol engine might keep me of the government hit list for a bit longer. I have had A4 Avants in the past and my last petrol engine was a 320i when they still had 6 cylinders. I fancied the Q5 because of the technology pack and ( maybe surprising to some) the decent driver technology at least compared to my previous Touareg. So far the Q5 has been very impressive - it is more firm (in auto drive select mode) than the Touareg and is a little lower and slightly smaller. The 2l petrol is very impressive and more economical than the 3l V6 and at least for now is 2/ 3 p per litre cheaper. It also feels more sporty - ideal for me but maybe not for 4 or 5 up on a road trip! Anyway, I'm very happy and I have already had a few 3rd party tweaks - re-enabled satellite maps, traffic camera alerts, sign recognition and active lane assist - all working fine and all simple SW updates. I am also on the waiting list for a wireless Android Auto dongle - it's a shame AA doesn't display on the virtual cockpit. I still have 6 months on Audi Connect and may need to reconsider some options then but for now, very happy to be driving an Audi and looking forward to contributing.
