  1. Is it the pin identified here https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/hinge-pin-br-brake-element/mpn/8E0880802 Part number 8E0880802?
  2. Either of these any good? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221909011176 https://x8r.co.uk/audi-a4-s4-rs4-b6-b7-8e-seat-exeo-st-3r5-glove-box-lid-hinge-repair-kit.html A Google of audi a4 b6 glove box hinge repair Will provide quite a lot of info 👍
  3. I had this enabled by a 3rd party and after some initial discomfort I have got used to it with the response set to late and input weak with no vibration. I can disable it by touching the ESP button momentarily but it resumes after a stop or if I use cruise control. I've now acquired OBDELEVEN and with this for 19 credits I can disable for good - if I was selling the car for example. Anyway if I was driving in a left hand drive country this might be useful to keep you in line. The jury is out for me but I can live with it. This technology as with start stop is not designed to make the car better it's just to tick boxes at the customer's (driving experience) expense.
  4. Based on your SW you are on MMI 3G/3G+ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi_Media_Interface BT streaming isn't supported but the links point you to the audistream2air.com - so that should work. It looks like the same price as the basic USB cable you were going to buy.
  5. I can't see a USB cable doing a lot of damage - did Audi give you a part number? Is it 4F0051510AB? I'm sure you can get this cable from Audi - unless it is obsolete. Regarding your mmi version I think you need to check back on old brochures or use your vin https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Audi As for BT streaming at 2010 you may be on the cusp - it would appear under the media selection on you console.
  6. There are lots of AMI to USB cables on ebay. You can plug your phone into this and play music / Spotify through the USB cable. I'm not aware of any you can connect a Bluetooth dongle to. A quick Google gives this https://audistream2air.com/products/bluetooth-a2dp-adapter-for-audi-skoda-and-vw-3gen Which audio unit do you have - is your S4 not already Bluetooth enabled?
  7. CDs are already modern age - they started the digital revolution 😁😁
  8. Looks nice - enjoy! Which engine is it?
  9. When I first looked I thought that it might have been an ex hire car. But the UK reg number with foreign language details suggested something simpler - glad you got it confirmed 👍
  10. My last 2 purchases were from dealers at a distance from me. I was prepared to travel for the car I wanted. Both were VW and Audi approved cars from dealers and so I expected to get any niggles sorted out at my local dealer. In the case of my Q5 I bought it unseen and undriven from Lincoln - in fact due to Covid rules a test drive would have been a major operation. I had previously test driven one in 2020 and have had Audis before so my risk was less than the OP on this thread. Everyone has their own opinion on risk (as I'm sure we have on lockdowns and pandemics) I felt that a 2.5 year old, single owner, low mileage car from an Audi dealer was an acceptable risk. So far I have no complaints but I agree that the method is not for everyone!
  11. Looks like a previous owner's insurance document
  12. Besides the obvious question of why not rip your cds and use MP3 or FLAC or... What spec is your MMI? - I'd imagine you have at least a USB connector so something like this should work through your media menu? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PVYWYC2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_92R1V4PFQFCYPRE70BMD Alternatively do you have an aux connector under your armrest - you can use an old disc man or similar to play through that.
