  1. Any of them would be nice! I'd fancy the pan american highway. They are all "on the list" if I have the time and money. I've done a bit of Pacific highway 1 in the past.
  2. I've driven round part of it from Ballina and through most of Donegal - all by car. You can also extend into N. Ireland on a short ferry to Maglligan Point. Lots of great scenery and beaches - you can even drive onto some of the beaches. 3 weeks should give you plenty of time to enjoy it 👍
  3. Good news Nigel 👍 It's interesting that the fuses are a combination of mini and regular types. The D row is also handy because you have room on either side if you're using a piggy back type of connector. Did you tuck the cable in at the top of the A Pillar?
  4. Doh 😁 It's definitely something more basic then!
  5. On 4 wheel drives you should keep all 4 tyres at a similar tread depth - on VWs it is around 3mm max difference - otherwise I think it can cause damage/wind up to the transmission. As mentioned above, the quattro system tends to default to front wheel drive and adapts if necessary, so checking the tread on all 4 tyres is a good start. You might be inadvertently winding up your transmission. It's something that I hadn't thought about because my VW was "always on" 4 wheel drive so it sounds like you need to rotate front and rear tyres for even wear with quattro drive.
  6. You could try these guys https://www.hazzydayz.com/ **I'm not sure about forum rules so please delete if this sort of supplier is not "appropriate"
