Hijack alert - my apologies has anyone done the SD card MMI update with a CD in the head unit ? I.e against the instructions? I can’t remove mine as the button is bust and I’ve not found an alternative method. I'm just concerned the update goes whappy if I leave the CD in and do more damage…. thanks

Hi everyone I’ve tried to search but VCDS comes up so much it’s a bit mental! I’ve got the opportunity if purchasing a laptop with VCDS etc. I’m likely to get it anyway for service reset and other stuff and just generally having some more functionality than handheld devices. I was just wondering does VCDS have the ability to program and or delete keys? Thanks

Yea I thought so, slightly high miles @ 150k I lost it on auction on eBay, the winning bidder didn’t collect and hours later I’d knocked some cash off my bid and was almost £5k lighter. Really pleased with it just need to sort front suspension arms which I’m not looking forward to. Only failed MOT on a rear shock and LED headlight bulbs need ripping out good result

Hi everyone I’ve posted in the gallery section also but saying hello here. I’ve been a long time lover since my first boss bought a 99 A4 Avant s line or whatever they may have been badged as back then. It was a V6 diesel i think but through financial constraints have until been a Ford man. But after having a 19 Q7 from new as a company car knew it was an Audi i wanted long term (ok after running a focus for a month for work). So have bought myself a 2014 A4 2.0 tdi SE technik i would have preferred better spec but it was too good to miss at a shade under £5k. Just lots of suspension arms on the front to replace now if I can shift the bolts corroded in etc. LED bulbs removed and need to fit a new headlamp for MOT as someone has previosuly completely mashed it trying to remove the lens (i’m guessing) to fit the LED bulbs. No huge plans in terms of mods, I’m old fashioned and like to keep standard although I’m quite taken with the android upgrades - though I think I’ll pay formthe Audi Nav/MMI upgrade… thanks everyone

Hi, Long time admirer but have generally always been a Ford man through budget constraints but after have a Q7 from new as a company car have bought myself an A4 as my work car… 2014 A4 SE Technik 2.0 tdi and absolutely love it
