There are a few service schedules available on the internet or alternatively you could buy a copy of ElsaWin from eBay which is Technical Data covering your car. For parts, you could follow this link http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts/ and see which parts you need. Shouldn't be too difficult to carry out a service but I would state that quality oil of the correct specification should always be used.

I have found these figures for the tyre size based on a 1.8 TFSi engine. 245/40 R 18 93 Y 36 32 38 38 The above figures are for Front / Rear / Front loaded / Rear loaded Probably best to measure the pressures at the moment and increase decrease to observe handling and tyre wear over a period, then you'll know if that's about right. I think you have just about covered all the bases. I have just been through the Audi A5 build configurator and you seem to have all the options I would actually go for. I do think the badge deletion is worth doing as I personally think cars always look better for it...cleaner lines! Enjoy it, will like to see piccys of it once you have it.

Hi Tomasz...welcome to the forum! Each insurance quote is based on individual circumstances so it depends on your situation. Could advise to research whether any companies that offer a limited use policy which may be cheaper if you don't use the car on a daily basis or whether you can have the Pay As You Go option which is where there is a black box placed in your car and you get billed for the time/mileage used, which has got to be cheaper Regards, Trevor - Admin

I think you're right in your conclusions regarding the service option as if you are limited to 15000 per annum and it's motorway miles only it would probably benefit to just take it in when needed. Hi Waqar...welcome to the club! DAB is quite an easy retrofit on the car as well as the centre armrest but not sure the Xenons will be that easy as will need to be wire up and programmed in. Anyone on here done any of the mods yet? Keep us posted with any updates Regards Trevor - Admin

Lol...I haven't laughed that much in ages! What a great review of the Audi...I'm sure many people will now rush out to buy one based on the 'benefits' of ownership. I have been from Stelvio Pass to Lake Garda and it was a beautiful journey but didn't actually plan that the majority of Garda is 30mph and it's huge! Took forever to get round it. I think also, the Cote d'Azure could be the winner, especially this year with the crap weather.

Sounds like a good car .... well maintained, motorways miles (always better than round-town miles, I believe), lots of new parts. Go for it !!!!

I know what you mean about paying out over the odds. I'm off to Le Mans Classic next week but the crossing from Poole (where I actually live) is huge money so cheaper to go from Dover to Dunkirk and its even works out cheaper to drive all the way to Dover, across France and back, stay in hotel down there and back and even with fuel costs....its still cheaper than the crossing! They just hike the prices up for various times of the year/events :-(

That's the good thing about Audi...you can carry out a huge range of mods and they all seem to really enhance the car

Found this info...may possibly work but you obviously need a spare key and also need to get inside the car to access the ignition. 1. putting spare key in the ignition turning one notch2. closing door and locking vehicle via door handle key hole with main key3. unlocking vehicle via door key hole and removing key from ignition
