Hi James...welcome to the Forum! That's a lovely looking motor....hard to keep clean I imagine? Looking forward to reading your posts in the future. Cheers Trevor- Audi a4 s line software problem??
Hi Martin...welcome to the Forum! It sounds like something like an ABS wheel sensor that could be bringing the warning light on (believe it is the wheel bearing type of sensor and if the hub nut/bolt isn't tightened up correctly, this can affect the sensor). As for the lighting faults, not sure exactly but may have been disconnected in the process of repair and maybe not replaced correctly...but the headlamp sounds like a ballast fault. Let us know how you get on with it Regards Trevor- Total newbie to Audi
Hi Rob...welcome to the Forum! Good luck with the purchase and look forward to seeing some piccies of it when you pick it up. Cheers Trevor- New Irish member

Hi Craig...welcome to the Forum! Glad you're pleased with your A5...great car If you like you can add MPG tuning in the Audi Specialist list that we have started so other members in the area can know about them. Look forward to reading your posts Regards Trevor- 2.0T noisey engine
Hi Andrew...sorry to hear that your Audi is playing up...what sort of noise is it? squealing, knocking, tapping, banging?- Rs5 brake pads
HI Paul....welcome to the Forum! It sounds like one (or more) of the brake pads is slightly sticking in the carrier and not returning. Alternatively, if they are not worn excessively, take them out and put compound on the contacting metal parts. If they are worn and need replacing shortly then I would replace them with quality pads. Let us know how you get on with it Regards Trevor- Indicator stalk change
- A3 8P Window Regulator keeps snapping cables
Hi Jordan That's tough luck...been there before with Land Rover regulators that I rebuilt with cheap rebuild kits (cables, etc) but generally when you fit a complete assembly they are usually pretty reliable. It looks as though the routing is fine and the tension on the glass generally would make it run a bit slower but shouldn't break the cable. Maybe use Vaseline on the edges of the glass where it contacts the runner...tends to work. I would probably take it back to the suppliers and demand a new one Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor - Admin- Zozzers 16
Hi Zoe...welcome to the Forum! At that price, you would be taking a chance that it could be cheap to fix or it could be another engine...either way, I don't think you'll lose out. Even though the coil packs and plugs have been changed there is the likelihood that one of them could be faulty (from new). Good luck with it and let us know how you get on Cheers Trevor - Admin- AUDI A1 1.4 tfsi. NEW IDENTITY
I personally love the look of it Johnny, as you say everyone has it in white. Definitely the black alloys set it of as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us- Newbie from Scotland
Brake fluid should be good for at least 2 years...so no need to replace it yet. Gives you time to save up for it- heating
Hi Paul...welcome to the Forum! Great looking car...the wheels set it off nicely. Sounds like an issue with the Dual function on the Air Con system....are there any switches or lights flashing on the A/C control panel? Regards Trevor- Audi Independent Repair Specialists
Anyone got any recommendations ?- Good Audi garage Hornchurch/Romford area

Glad you've gone for what sounds like a great car...would love to see some photos of it I wouldn't personally leave the lights on auto as being Xenon they will come on every time you go through any dimly lit area for even a short period (e.g. country lane with overhanging trees)...happens to me on my journey home in daylight and lights come on when I'm approaching a junction which looks like I'm flashing someone out.- Chesterfield New AudiFriend
Hi Jon...welcome to the Forum! What a great looking car and also a fantastic piccy! Look forward to reading you future posts Regards Trevor- Newbie from Scotland
Great result all round! I think I could live with cable ties also if faced with a choice of that or £236 for a new tray- Power steering leak
Ouch...thats expensive!- B6 TDI SPECIAL EDITION.??
Hi Darrell...welcome to the Forum! Wow...that looks like a great car to buy...go for it ! I'm not sure if there was a standard OE edition or whether it has aftermarket kit on it but nevertheless if it has been fitted nicely I wouldn't worry about it too much. Let us know how you get on with your purchase. Cheers Trevor - Newbie
