Audi s1 bubbles in coolant
Check your coolant level isn’t to high Incase the flow from the return pipe is pulling air under the surface of the reservoir

Audi a6 c7 front door lock, cable with black grommet and grey foam sleeve is to inner handle and other cable goes to outer handle.

Door does not open intermittently
Majority of modern audis use a cable that connects the handle to the mechanism. I would lean towards the solanoid inside the lock mechanism starting to fail. They usually still make a noise but don’t have enough power to throw the internal lever. Unless deadlocked or child locks on the inner handle will always unlock the car as it’s a mechanical connection. From memory it Should need pulled twice if door is still locked. Once if door is unlocked

Replacement Key - Coding a Key
Unfortunately the devices they have started to use now doesn’t even require a key to be scanned, from what I’ve seen if the cars ecu’s are awake or awoken then the device can unlock the car almost instantly or within the alarm sounding once, when inside another device get puts into the obd port and starts the car. Different devices for different cars so if a local thief gets one then you will notice the same type of cars getting stolen, Range Rover, fiesta mk7.5 and fiat 500 seem the easiest so far, keyless ignitions almost always as ignition barrels slow them down

Confused about Data connections
I’ve had the exact same experience with my wife’s Audi mmi as you are having, I ended up giving up and just use CarPlay for everything when I use it. Thought it was just me but even my teenagers moan about how bad the mmi is to use compared to the bmw idrive. Sorry I can’t give any help to solve your problem

Glad you got it sorted, open circuit faults often mean you’ve dropped a feed wire but finding where on the circuit can be a challenge.

50 TDI or 55 TFSI e for towing.
I would Tow with a Tdi, tfsi or a full electric. I would not with a hybrid unless you are only planning to own it while it’s under warranty due to the complex integration of the drive systems and possible weaknesses

Them holes have very large plastic clips that go thru the above tray and the mid section tray, they are reusable- Replacing B9 climate control panel
Never had to replace one so could not say about coding but would think that the electronic board could removed from existing unit and and fitted into the replacement unit if the damage is limited to the plastics- A3 8V No Heat Diagnosis
Thats a bag circled. That’s where the bags are sometimes found on bottles without mit silikat printed on them- A3 8V No Heat Diagnosis
Unfortunately it wasnt printed on every reservoir that it was fitted in but this may be year dependent. Shining a torch thru the empty reservoir bottle while looking inside is a good way of checking for one also if in doubt. below photo is from a T6 with nothing on bottle as a idea where to look- A3 8V No Heat Diagnosis
Finding out what VAG cars got the bag is almost impossible, I’ve never came across any service document that states what vin numbers they were introduced from which also means we don’t know what vehicles were affected. The logic behind the bags makes sense from a VAG standpoint, they have to allow for all regions of the world where maybe service procedures are not followed so a few blocked heater matrix’s is better then engines failing due to corroded engine internals. A pain in the !Removed! but still better then skimming engine heads and blocks- push key to start problems
Are you getting ignition on like car wants to start but no crank- A3 8V No Heat Diagnosis
If your not getting high engine temps and the system is getting hot I would think your pump is working- LED main beams poor
Totally understand what your saying and yes well worth getting it checked for safety and to put your mind an ease. Keep us updated on the outcome- LED main beams poor
Pay attention to Vehicles caster angle on a wheel Alignment report as almost impossible to Adjust and is a sure way of spotting if chassis is likely bent, toe in toe out is easy adjusted and cambers can be fudged but incorrect caster is hard to hide- LED main beams poor
a chassis alignment check will Require a bodyshop with a jig and measuring system, most commonly a car o liner here in the uk which is what we use, Wheel Alignment check can be done at almost all tyre centers. If wheel alignment check is good and all Panel gaps appear nice then chassis is probly fine - Help With Transmission Splash Shield Rear Retainer Clips
