  1. We have to events which are slightly local to you. There's:

VAG Tuner Live on the 16th July at donington park

    and

audis in the park on the 13th august at Deenes park, Corby, Northamptonshire

if you'd like to display your vehicle at either show then let me know :)

    cheers

  2. No worries Dan!

I'm always on the lookout for new events. Once I've found one il post it. Alternatively if you find an event than by all means let us know and we will try and attend :)

Oh and don't forget to add some pics of your t5 in the "what else do you ride/drive" section :)

    cheers

  3. I know the front bulbs are tricky to replace and the air box needs removing so in order to get at the holder. You shouldn't have to remove the headlights.

The problem you have is that the bulb holders weren't designed for led bulbs and as you rightly pointed out you would need load resistors.

Sorry i can't be of any more help.

    Cheers

H Steve.  Don't know of any in Scotland either I'm afraid but I will have a good look around. Unfortunately the dates for the meetings are not possible for me to attend...gutted. Thanks for inviting me!

That's fine :) if you find any than let me know.

Dont worry, I appreciate it's a long way for you to travel!

Your welcome for the invite, it's just good to get members together when we can :)

Thanks for arranging this Steve, hopefully we can get a good number from around that area of the country.

If anyone is interested in going, just post up here to say you're interested and we'll add your name to the list

Thanks Trevor. The organiser is going to post a club pack to me on Friday. So once I know more il let you know.

  6. Hi Justin welcome to the forum :)

if it were me I would stick with the tyres that are already fitted. I say that as you already know they are quiet which is already a good thing.

Michelins are good and iv heard Goodyear eagle f1 are good. And I don't see it to be a problem to put the fronts on the back as you have Quattro but your local tyre specialist will be able to advise otherwise.

Also if you've been to France recently then feel free to write a road trip review with your hints and tips. I'm sure URL be useful for other members :)

oh and if you would like to display your q7 at any up and coming events with us then just let us know :)  We are trying to get enough cars for VAG Tuner Live which is happening at Donington park on Sunday 16th July.

    Cheers

  7. Right.

I have spoken to the organiser for the event and he is happy to have us on board!

    info:

Our display requires a minimum of 5 cars

aftermarket parts suppliers will be demonstrating their products. I.e. Showing off their suspension whilst doing laps of the track.

Car rides round the track will be available in an Audi R8.

there will be rides i.e. Dodgems

il pass on further info once I have it :)

Would love to but I'm in Scotland!  Any up here?

    Hi Chris,

I'm not sure of any Audi events in Scotland currently. Are you aware of any?

If so we would be more than happy to rally support and attend the event :)

i do know we have other members who live in Scotland.

Would you be interested in displaying your Audi at VAG Tuner or Audis in the park?

    Thanks for your interest! :)

    cheers

  11. Welcome to the forum Jonny :)

sorry to hear your predicament. I'm assuming you have the 2.0tdi?

If so, my dad has the 2.0tdi Vw Passat (66 plate) and he is getting into the high 40s low 50s with mpg but he has the car computer set to the eco mode.

he was getting those figures pretty much straight away. To put your mpg into comparison my 2002 a6 2.5tdi is getting in the mid 30s for mpg.

I would deffo get Audi to have a look and plug the car into a diagnostic machine

    cheers

Just had a recall for my Honda CRV for potential exploding Airbags...at least I get them done for free I suppose.

This fault has affected a range of cars worldwide, made by one company and fitted to loads of cars...all defective!  Going to cost millions to sort I would imagine

I think Toyota are caught up in that aren't  they? As well as some of the German manufactures. I don't think the VAG group are affected however :)
