Avoid the manual. The DMF is very weak. I have driven over a million miles in cars and never had an issue yet had 4 (in total, 3 replacement) clutches and DMF in 60k miles. In the end I gave up and P/X'd the car with a clutch judder. Now have an auto, much better.

Have e-mailed the service advisor. Let's hope that's the fix.

Thanks for that Paul. It hasn't been updated by me. I have the car booked into my local Audi dealer to look at it in September (earliest I could get it in!) but I will e-mail my service advisor and notify him about the TSB, thanks. Can you point me to that thread in the appropriate forum please?

Si here's the issue I'm having. Put a SIM card in the car. Google symbol comes up in the bottom R/H corner of the screen to show the loading process. Gets to Goog and stops. Try using the car to make a phone call, it disconnects immediately. It's a new SIM with data, texts, minutes etc. I must have the damned thing configured incorrectly somewhere as it's done it with 2 separate SIMs now. Tried the 3 button reset - no good. Tried the factory MMI reset - no good. HELP please!!

I'd get them but only if I could find them in black not chrome

Pretty easy, it just takes patience. I used a plastic spatula to ease them off the paint then tricloroethane or brake cleaner to remove the residue them polished the area afterwards. The hardest part for me was making sure the black rings on the rear were aligned perfectly. I used tape to mark the position of the old rings.

Hi, I fitted a set last week. If you have the LED interior light package fitted all the lamps inside the car are LED so get the LED ones. However I see no reason why the LED ones won't work as a replacement for the halogen door lights?

Hi Second post on the forum. I have a 66 plate A6 BE Avant. So far, I have changed the chrome rings for black, removed the model name and engine designation, replaced the silver S Line badges on the wings for black ones and fitted S Line puddle lights ('cos my lad thinks they're cool LOL) and fitted genuine Audi mudflaps to the front (if you can call them that) and painted the calipers.

Hi Just thought I'd pop in here and say hello. I'm on my second A6 Avant, the first one being a 2013 S Line that I traded in at 4 years old and 80k miles against my current drive, another A6 Avant but this time a 2017 (66) Black Edition. Only had it a month or so and am really impressed. It seems so much better built than the last one.
