Cheers Rob
We have one other to meet up with. Jessie
So I suggest we meet at rownhams first at 7 and then convoy down to Tesco's at applemore near dibden about 8
This is a decent car park and a number of other clubs are also meeting there.
once we are ready we can the convoy into Beaulieu as a group.
hope you have printed off your windscreen passes.
see you Sunday morning.
Temperature wise it is looking to be about 24 Deg c on the day so should be an improvement on last year.
Morning, I'm running a little late this morning so may be 15-20 min late. If I don't see you there I'll see you at the Tesco's.

I'll be at rownhams around 07:00 give or take a few min 😀

Also, I have the Club Banner so if anyone is in the Bournemouth / Ringwood area in the week so that I can pass it on for use on the day ?
Unfortunately not. I think @Southampton Graham is nearest to you possibly?

Hi Steve,
Put me down on the list, shame I'll miss you again (that'll be two in a row! 🤔).
Has anyone finalised what we are all doing for meeting up? Same as last year?
-
If anyone else is here I'm straight outside.

Hi mate, not a problem. I'm aiming to get there for 06:30 but knowing me I'll probably be there a bit earlier. See you there. 😜

Nice one Rob
You will soon get your money back with a gain of 18mpg.
Yes in around two weeks! 😀😀

So I think the following sounds like a good plan, feel free to make any further suggestions:
Meet up at "Cepen Park, W Cepen Way, Chippenham SN14 6UZ" which is the Premier Inn" only 10 min from the circuit.
06:30 - Breakfast
07:15 - Leave for Castle Coomb
07:30 - Arrive at Castle Coomb
That's assuming that we can get in with our club tickets at 07:30 like last year but I can't find any info on the site except 08:30 entrance for general public.
Anyone got any thoughts on the suggestion? 😀

As far as i know you just replace the sensor , run a scan and clear any faults. New sensor will pick up new values
Spot on mate 😀. I did some more searching and couldn't find a definitive answer on if the learned values need to be reset when the sensor is changed so I just changed it anyway.
So to sum it all up, just the sensor replacement fixed the issue in conjunction with clearing the faults (plus a couple of test drives with a scan after each to check, and for my own sanity).
I did note after the swap that the old sensor was noting the DPF differential pressure @14psi constant and an offset value of 0.9psi. after the swap the new Sensor was noting the DPF differential pressure @0.1psi at idle which obviously then rises as you put your foot down as I would expect, also the offset dropped to -0.4psi but not sure how or if that is even relevent.
So now it's fixed and been out for a good run, I've seen an instant 18mpg increase (calculated not from dash).
So I'm now a happy chappy and it only cost £26 from my local autofactors 😀.

yep good place to meet, Rob we`ll try not to leave you behind this year lol oh and dont forget your ticket i dont have a spare one this time 😭
Lol, don't worry I've got the electronic one with the barcode saved on my phone 😀.
Driving off without me wasn't nicest thing, but hey ho never mind I got over it 😂😂.
Breccy at the Premier Inn was decent as well 😀.
@Steve Q are you staying over there again this year?
-
Anyone fancy meeting up at the Premiere Inn again this year for a bit of breakfast and if so what time are we thinking?

I also had the P2452 fault. it was diagnosed as the DPF pressure sensor. At the same time I had lost about 120 miles per tank with increased fuel consumption and the radiator fan was always on.
Since I had a full service and the pressure sensor replaced, I have got my original fuel consumption back and the fan is no longer on all the time. The garage charged £45 for the sensor and 45 minutes for the labour cost.
Hi Graham,
Now you mention the mpg increase I had thought it had dropped but didn't think anything of it! I think what is going on is obviously the output from the sensor is wrong so it prematurely/frequently regen's when not needed.
I've got the sensor ready to go on, it was only £20 from my local autofactors. Just trying to confirm if it really needs the DPF pressure sensor learned values resetting.
I've found were to do it with my OBDEleven Pro but its not enabled and can get it to accept the security login for the control module!
I'll post back again soon once I figure it out 😀.

Worth a shot m8, long shot have to spoken to Audi to see if they will help for free, i know Audi and free dont belong in the same sentence but no harm in asking may catch them in a charitable mood
I never even though of that🤦♂️, but worth a shot 😀. I'll let you know how that goes! 🤔😂.

That's what I would of though but if you view the various outputs you have available for the DPF system there is also an offset value which I would assume to be stored in the control unit.
Strangely though the car is still performing regen's fine despite the fault (and annoying dash light!).
I did find another issue which I imagine could be quite common and related in that the coolant return pipe to the expansion bottle had rubbed through the outer insulation on one wire and nearly though on another. I sorted that out which has resolved the intermittent circuit error I was getting (P2456) so just left with P2452 which I believe needs the sensor itself replacing.
When I eventually get to the bottom of it I'll post up my findings. 😀

Hi Paul,
I did see that thread and tried to I put that code in but couldn't get it to successfully login. I'm thinking I may be doing something wrong while trying to login the security access, so not necessarily a problem with the code and more likely user error on my part!
-
Hi guys,
Does anyone know how to reset the learned values when replacing the DPF Pressure sensor using Obdeleven Pro.
Sensor part no is: 059 906 051 C
I'm guessing my issue is that I think I need the security login code for the control module to enable the setting but I'm not sure.
Any help would be much appreciated 😀.
