I have the same problem on a 2016 s3 8V, do you know what the problem is?

Recently I tried to charge at the Gridserve 350kw chargers at the Birch Services on the M62. Again no joy. Since then I have charged without problems at Ionity, Tesla and Ospray. So what is going on?

Your fault sequence absolutely mirrors the one on my RS6. I too have decided, having gone through this once I have bought at my expense a spare alternator, which I will carry with me, next time this fault sequence starts it’s an AA recovery to any old garage and they can replace the alternator then Audi can replace the faulty one so I always have a spare.

The reason I ask is because suddenly after changing solenoid/actuator my petrol consumption has dropped considerably.

Hi everyone, I'm having a serious issue with my 2013 Audi A4 Avant S-Line MMI 3G+. Recently, I went into the green engineering menu to make some adjustments, and now my MMI is stuck on the splash screen. Here are the details of my problem: The MMI is stuck on the splash screen. All the buttons work. The radio works. Bluetooth works. I can't see my rearview camera feed. I believe I might have messed up some settings in the green menu, but I'm not sure which ones or how to revert them back to the original state. I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance on how to fix this. Any step-by-step instructions or references to similar issues would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your help! Thanks Gareth. My car is actually with Belfast Audi waiting on the updates. I use it every day and because of covid it has less than 25000 miles so I don’t think it should be the battery. It’s just so many people seem to have trouble with the dash bringing up random messages I wondered about rogue A6 s from 2019. Any ideas. Thanks

Audi RS6 V10 Avant, stunning example, car is absolutely mint, considering the age the car drives like a new car, engine was fully rebuilt a few years ago have receipts totalling just under 9k, full service history, 12 months mot, mileage at 99850 but engine doesn't reflect this, recently had a 3 year ceramic coating, regularly detailed and cleaned, 20" bronze supermetal alloys, recently had a custom made stainless steel longlife exhaust with 5" black tailpipes, new rear brake discs and pads all round, the stainless steel bits on the car have been wrapped in satin black with black badges, just made a few subtle changes which I feel enhances the car, considering the car is an estate it's a beast but also is perfect to cruise about , open to offers, £16250, more photos available

I reckon white smoke rules out electrical insulation burning because that would be brown, so that leaves exhaust fumes and scorched glycol (coolant). If the exhaust is leaking to the extent of filling the cabin with fumes I would expect you to be able to hear a lot more exhaust clatter than normal, and possibly even see or hear the gas escaping if you put your head under the car. Is that so? If the cooling system is leaking I would expect a need to top up the radiator header tank frequently, and possibly overheating of the engine. Is that so?

Hello Robert, Are the brake lights actually working, or not. Appreciate you have renewed all the bulbs, but sometimes there are 2 brake light bulbs per side, so although the brake lights appear to be working, only one bulb may be. Kind regards, Gareth.

Hi everyone, and thank you for having me here. I am facing a seemingly unsolvable issue with my A6 C6 4f2. In summary, the air blower motor has stopped working, and the climate control is forced into ECO mode by the system. When I checked the system, I found 2 Faults: 02071 - Local Databus 012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 01101100 Fault Priority: 3 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 166 Mileage: 295665 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2024.05.09 Time: 19:26:05 00256 - A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor (G395) 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 01100010 Fault Priority: 3 Fault Frequency: 2 Reset counter: 166 Mileage: 295665 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2024.05.09 Time: 19:26:46 I have already taken the following steps without success: Checked all the involved wiring with a multimeter. Unplugged the G395 sensor. Changed the G395 sensor (tried two different aftermarket sensors). Replaced the heater motor resistor (tried both aftermarket and used original). Tested the heater motor itself (works when directly powered from the battery). Checked all fuses. Replaced the climatronic control module (only the front side motherboard, as the base motherboard requires reprogramming by specific dealership software). Everything was functioning correctly before this issue arose. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please share them with me.

The oil grade will depend on the climate it is to be used in, so there no one single grade of oil that is ideal around the world, hence the need to consult Audi in your country of use. I have never seen any oil data stickers on cars in Britain, either under the bonnet or elsewhere on the car. Perhaps that is a uniquely American practice. As Magnet mentioned, get the information from Audi.
