  2. Hiya guys, I'm really hoping someone can help with this issue. Started off as a p0087 low rail pressure and limp mode under load. Then developed a slight rough idle in park and neutral, and erratic in drive and reverse. Changed fuel filter and FPR valve, no difference. Then developed into really erratic idle in drive gears and kept trying to stall when coming to a complete stop. Until finally it did stall. Wouldn't restart. After checking fuel rail pressure whilst cranking (200psi after 10 secs) I figured it was the hpfp. Have changed that, got the car started, ran around for a day. Then stalled coming up to a junction, with no restart. Now thinking lpfp, replaced that now have it started again, but still have the idle issue, and a bit too scared to drive it to see if it dies when coming to a stop. Note: have also replaced the fuel pump controller that sits on the fuel tank. Did a leak off test and getting around 30-60 ml per injector after 3-4 minutes which seems low to me? Any ideas
  3. From collection the Heads up display was working. Registered and enabled Audi Connect in car and the Heads Up Display stopped working at around the same time. Not sure if this was coincidental but a PITA all the same. Took it to Bath Audi for inspection and they found a SW message regarding the Display and a lockout condition. No idea as yet what, why and when but something to be aware of. May affect other models with HUD. Working again for me. May be one of those "undocumented" features that will never have a plausible explanation.

  5. Went to see a 2017 rs3 sport back. The car was a bit of a mess. Headlights badly fogged up with only 37k miles on the clock. Rear discs and pads needed replaced also. So walked away from it although it drive perfect. That engine is magnificent. So depending on outcome of my issue we shall see.
  6. Fingers crossed it's covered under warranty 馃 what are you planning on upgrading to?
  7. Yesterday
  8. Il book it in for a warrenty call. And will remember to keep the forum updated. Bad timing as I just put the car up for sale. Drove an rs3 yesterday and planning to upgrade
  9. As per my previous advice it definitely could be the megatronics unit. You could try and get the gearbox oil changed to see if that helps.
  10. Looks stunning! Love that interior
  11. It is. Sorry I forgot all about it. I removed r600 air intake and res delete and it solved the issue last time. It鈥檚 been running fine ever since until today.
  12. Is this the same car you asked about in https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/28800-gearbox-issues-s3-8v/#comment-116099 and failed to update the forum as requested?
  13. Home from work early, beautiful day so decided to take the s3 out for a spin. Pulled out of a junction 2nd gear pull and car immediately drops power, stays in second and gearbox malfunction comes up. Limited performance. Turned off and on and it reset. Seems fine on higher gear pulls but same issue happened again twice when setting off. I do think the shifts are a bit rough sometimes now. I did the usual reset of the mech unit the other week too. Anyone have any issues like this. Car is stage one map but gearbox standard. Would this have an effect ? Thanks
  14. 2024 reg . Only had it 3 days . Love 馃挄 it. Bit of a rattle from the glovebox area , other than that it's smashing.

    HELP?!

    Does it charge at home?
  19. Sounds great. Have you had any waterproofing treatment done on the roof during this process?
  20. Just to add if you're needing someone to fit it, then it's worth looking at autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them and been pleased with the results.
  21. That's great to hear 馃檪 not a bad courtesy car at all!
  22. Got pea e if mind you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Alternatively give it another week to see how you get on.
