New S5 Avant heads up on Heads Up Display

From collection the Heads up display was working. Registered and enabled Audi Connect in car and the Heads Up Display stopped working at around the same time. Not sure if this was coincidental but a PITA all the same. 

Took it to Bath Audi for inspection and they found a SW message regarding the Display and a lockout condition. No idea as yet what, why and when but something to be aware of. May affect other models with HUD. 

Working again for me. May be one of those "undocumented" features that will never have a plausible explanation.
