  2. Did you get anywhere with this after Alex?
  3. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as the issue could be with the module or wiring harness etc.

Looks like the code is a fault for the engine mounts. You need to check the wiring to the mounts as they are prone to breaking quite near to where they plug in. If wiring is ok then it could be the sensor for the mounts or the mount(s) themselves.
  5. I'd definitely recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you're experiencing multiple electrical issues then it might be worth looking at the comfort control module which is situated under the passenger front footwells carpet. If this is got wet at all from any water ingress then this could be damaged. If it is this then you'll need to get one with the exact same part number. Alternatively electric windows and other door electrical issues can be attributed to broken wires in the door harness in the flexible rubber but which joins door to the a pillar.
  6. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the maf sensor.
  7. From what I've read from people who have done this on older a3s, you're best getting a golf dash from a car the exact build year as your A3. Then In theory it'll fit as mounting points should be the same, not sure how it'll work with the door cards though? Ie any protrusions from one or the other that'd stop the door closing. Don't forget that the instrument cluster is coded to your car with the imobiliser so ideally you need to keep the same cluster.
  8. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  9. Looks lovely with those wheels 🙂👍

  11. Did you get an answer for this? I have the exact same on my A3 and can hear the noise you mean in the video it’s ever so faint but it’s the same dull ticking noise on mine. Just curious if it was an easy fix?
  12. I want to put a mk6 golf dashboard into an Audi a3 8p they are the same platform I’m just wondering if it will fit and what I would need to do to make it fit
  13. That is strange Chris, since the screw goes into the (Audi) hub, so the correctly ordered Audi screw should fit - irrespective of the brake disc supplier. Are the threads serviceable? Kind regards, Gareth.
  14. Hi take the screw out of the other side most motor motor parts stores will be able to match it. Steve.
  15. Hi Steve thank you for your reply. I got a replacement screw from Audi themselves but it doesn’t fit. Chris
  16. Hi its just a standard screw fitted to any Audi, is all it does is keep the disc in place so if the pad off position is loose the disc can't move round and block the bolt holes. Steve.
  17. Hi thank you for your response. Produce is updated and yeah I did but just wandered if anyone knew the size of the EBC screw by chance
  18. Hello Chris, I take it you are aware that you can refit this and tighten the wheel to the correct torque until you are able to order a new countersunk retaining screw on Tuesday. Kind regards, Gareth. p.s. perhaps you could give us a more precise location within the United Kingdom.
  19. Hi, Did you get your car fixed? Interesting that it's happening to the Q3 too. I very much got treated like I was the only person that had the issue, not doubt they have made everyone else feel the same way.
  20. Hello, Although we are a friendly and helpful bunch on here, we do automatically take it that new members joining to ask a question, will at least take the trouble to fill in their profile properly. Could you please do that for us?
  21. My idling is going from 800 revs to 1600 when not in gear or stationery, has anyone had this problem on there audis, would be grateful for any information
  22. I don't think so, the car accelerates normally as it should , it has all it's power. It doesn't seem like any power is missing.
  23. As I mentioned, the injectors were changed with brand new ones maybe 3.000 kms ago so I do not think that they are contaminated. I have a rubber clamping at the muffler which is worned out, so the muffler moves a bit, sometimes I can hear it clanking , I will need to change that, but I don't think it should not cause an issue like this. But good news, as I was driving it a little bit harder maybe a week ago, accelerating all the way through first , second, third and fourth, I did this maybe three times and the problem dissappeared. So maybe something was clogged up or was not functioning as it should. It seems like a little bit of hard driving solved this issue.
  24. I have this exact issue with my 2018 q3. They’ve always been fine and working normally, then one day, nothing. I can’t get them back on.
  25. I've got the 2l tdi ultra and my long memory mpg figure is 39.4mpg and I don't do much round town driving, I too don't think it's particularly economic and had expected at least late 40s early 50s its worse than my old 3l v6 jag xf
