  1. Past hour
  2. Mines a company car lease so the hybrid is a massive tax incentive over a full petrol/diesel. And I wanted the extra power from a 45 🤪
  3. Today
  4. If you dont mind me asking what made you chose the 45? I chose a 35tdi 2 years ago almost through my pcp and tbh I love it. The power and torque is endless, its economical in eco mode i get 70mpg in summer in winter 60 for 33k, I never understood the allure to the hybrid battery model. Especially given reliability issues etc
  5. Yea my colleague bought hee new it was a 2016 model.
  6. I'd expect 40s unless just town driving and short trips.
  7. I'm not sure but I'd get this into a garage to be checked asap if it were mine.
  8. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the auto box last serviced?
  9. That's odd. If within 30 days take it back to the supplying dealer to sort as this should be done FOC
  10. I'm not sure only had the car a month, the engine runs for a short time after turning the ignition off also
  11. They’ve had it about 6 yrs min. I think. Bought from new.
  12. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Very nice, sure you'll enjoy it in summer, if we get any!
  13. How old is the battery? If the battery is starting to fail it can throw up various electrical issues.
  14. Hi, having stop/start faulty notification coming up any ideas
  15. I have reached out to Snapchat for support, but it seems like it is useless. A few days ago I changed my Snapchat password (I thought I was changing a password to another account) and then deactivated it. I tried to reset my password via phone/email, but it seems that it does not work, then a friend of mine referred me to a great guy that was able to recover any hacked/ deactivated or deleted account, message Yt7crackersz@ gmail .com & I.G @ Yt7crackersz To get back your compromised account, he is the only professional to resolve my account issue within some couple min..
  16. The franchise dealer I bought from is a chain, the car was in Scotland and they had a branch ~30 miles from me. So close enough to buy from but not close enough to pop over to. I could ask another Audi dealer's parts dept closer to me, will investigate.
  17. i thought it would be worth more than that ,as there's so few left
  18. Hello Alex, I believe it should lock. Possible cause - sticky solenoid plunger which moves to lock the cap. Open the flap, and look to the side of the inside recess to locate the plunger, then give it a squirt of WD40. Alternatively, you may need to remove the boot inner side covering and attack/ replace it from there. Kind regards, Gareth.
  19. Any good reason why you cannot make your request on a person-to-person basis with the Parts. Dept. representative via. a walk in visit?
  20. Hello Anderson, Opinions will vary greatly - from spending extra on Audi pads since your labour is going to be free, to any of the ones you have mentioned, and many more. I certainly would not use Mintex based on my experience of last using them on a Rover Cabriolet with rapid wear despite new calipers. Once one of the most respected brands, but now…??? You mentioned Pagid, so I wonder if you are looking at ECP as a supplier-? I seldom use them for parts, and prefer to use Parts in Motion, and some other EBay suppliers who have given me competitive prices on quality brands, and overall great service. Worth trying P in M. I’m currently ‘experimenting’ with Brembo pads and discs on a family member’s non - Audi to good effect, so I currently favour those. Hope some of this helps. Kind regards, Gareth. p.s. Do you have a wind-back tool for the rears?
  21. Hello I wanted to add that I just added some oil because maybe enough oil had leaked to the point of metal to metal grind would start to occur. The sound stopped and I’ll be getting a oil change this weekend I’ll be back to report 🫡

  23. Hey I own a 2014 A4 S-Line auto with 93k miles it started making the same noise you’re describing, 2 months ago i replaced the timing chain cover gasket because it was leaking and checked the chain, it felt normal tight as it should this noise is becoming more regular. 2 questions how much would a rough estimate be of the job and how do you find a trusted European mechanic or going to the Audi dealer is a better option
  24. Yeah the Q7 has loads of codes for everything. 01577 turn off due to over temp is a common one for the pump as well as the level control system going on about lower/ upper limit exceeded etc and even a 01583 code for leak detected in system. There should be some codes stored that will be an indication of what it’s unhappy with.
  25. 56Doc

    Air suspension

There were no codes on my 04 Allroad, 2010 Q7, there might be but, the systems electrical rather than electronic on the old Allroad, so nothing digital involved.
