Hi All, My first post so apologies if I miss anything protocol related. I've recently purchased a new forged engine for my 8P S3 and plan to start the rebuild shortly. I'm planning on aiming for the 500BHP mark as I currently had the original engine stage 2+ mapped with the necessary external components uprated. I'm working through the ancillaries that I need to upgrade but I am stuck on the clutch selection. I originally had a SACH 450 clutch installed but know it will not be up to the job of handling the additional power gains I am aiming for, and I need to consider the majority of my driving will be road use. Can anyone recommend a performance clutch that can handle this sort of BHP and be user friendly for the road (handle plenty of stop/start traffic queue scenarios)? Thanks PaulZ

Hi one and all. Purchased A5 40 tdi just over 12 mts ago and been pleased up to now!!! Then woah and behild add blu fault comes up on dash, top it up still wont go off!! Took to independant garage who diagnosed tank replacement but couldnt say why or the pump. Dont really want to take to Audi and was wondering anyone else had this and any advice. Also dont know if anyone could recomend anyone in North Wales to look at it as independant garage said it needs to go back to audi as they re programme it. Any advice info appreciated abd sorry fir long message. Says wont be sble to start in 20 mikes as well????

I was thinking satin bronze but that would then be 3 very different colours (black/ silver mirrors, front lip/ wheels ) so went against it

Can we have a picture of the full car please? I love satin bronze on a black car. It’s what would i would choose (if I didn’t care) but wouldn’t want the attention it might bring to my car ☺️

I finally got a call from Audi Executive yesterday. The latest is that they are going to speak to my dealership to discuss rejection and buy back under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I fear we will not be happy with their offer, however, it might be our only good option. If all the intermittent fault warnings should come to fruition, the cost of repair would be phenomenal. It is such a shame, prior to this I was very happy with my car.

So sorry to hear you’re still having so much trouble. I am more than happy to support any complaints with you. I am astonished at their lack of support and disingenuousness. I bet there are so many people in the same boat as we are!

I would like to write to the executives at Audi too, to complain not only for the poor customer service and the battle we are all having but also to back up your concerns that they’re not taking the safety element seriously that a key component to a car are failing so quickly in young, low mileage cars. I wonder how many of us it would take to actually make them listen and respond appropriately!?

I rang Bath Audi and you won’t believe it, Simon left last week. They did say someone from his team will call me back. Bristol Audi have emailed me to say ‘Q7is the only car that is covered on this 7yr extension. Audi Uk said last week there is still nothing they can do as Bristol are refusing to support me. I have now rang Audi uk back today to say Bristol have given me false information as I know it is not just the Q7 models. Funnily enough they haven’t called back when they said they would. I am looking for some help. I have an Audi A5 3.0 TDI V6 Black Edition Plus Coupe 2dr Diesel S Tronic Quattro which I have owned for 4 years with out any issues. Recently I have noticed that it sounds like it is over revving. I can be driving at 40mph, the rev counter will show 1100 -1300 rpm but it sounds like its at 3500+ rpm. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what the issue could be? Asking here before I take to a garage. Thanks.

Be careful doing it as one of my glovebox hinges has snapped as the plastic has gone brittle. Definitely try wd40 etc. If it's moving slightly you could put felt on the edges of the glovebox.

I can get that, I was shocked when my gran passed and I was very close to her. I've had to reduce hours as I've been working too much. Always here if you want a chat

Don’t need to. I can open the glove box and put pressure on the open lid at the side and it stops. pretty sure the noise comes from the “hinge” or what ever the lid swivels on at the rear. but everything appears to be covered by trim. Just searched and theres a YouTube video showing how to remove the glovebox lid which looks a bit of a gaff. Was hoping somebody might have an easy fix.
